Brad Harvey

I am the editor and author of I have a degree in culinary arts from the Culinary Institute of America in New York and have worked in the foodservice industry for 15 years, from line cook to sous chef to executive chef to general manager.
I have also worked in online media for the last 10 years, largely in the realm of recipe development and content management. I currently work as a content manager for the food and recipes section of the website of a major global retailer.
I research each country's cuisine with books, in conversations and on the internet. I also shop at local ethnic markets and eat at ethnic restaurants in every city I visit (but primarily in the Bay Area where I live). I gather menus, eat extravagantly and inquire about local customs in every state and every country I visit.
