Souskaï de Mangues Vertes

(French caribbean mango appetizer)

Yield: 4-6 servings


INGREDIENTS PREP AMOUNT
Garlic minced 1 clove
Pepper, jalapeño minced 1 each
Mango not too ripe, peeled, cut into 1" cubes 2 each
Limes juice only 2 each
Salt to taste

METHOD

  1. Mix all together well. Marinate at least 1 hour.
  2. Serve with toothpicks and cocktails.

NOTES

  • This simple, healthy and lowfat fruit appetizer is particularly popular in the French Antilles.
