Dhanya Chatni

(Indian cilantro chutney)

Yield: About 1 cup


INGREDIENTS PREP AMOUNT
Cilantro chopped fine, stems & all 1 bunch
Onion chopped 1 each
Hot chili peppers minced 1-2 each
Lemon juice 1/4 cup
Cayenne pepper pinch
Garam masala (opt.) 1/2 tsp
Salt 2 tsp

METHOD

Basic Steps:  Blend
  1. Pulse in a food processor or blender till almost pureed, but still somewhat chunky.

NOTES

  • Make sure you chop the cilantro stems very finely or they will leave strings in your chutney.
