Tofu
Tubu Choerim
(Korean spiced tofu)

| Korean red chile flakes |

METHOD
- Dry tofu with a paper towel. Heat oil in skillet over medium-high flame. Brown tofu on both sides in hot oil. Remove.
- Mix remaining ingredients together. Place 1/4 of sauce mix in a small saucepan. Place a layer over tofu over this. Repeat until all tofu and sauce has been used up. Bring to a boil, cover tightly, and simmer over low heat for 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside another 10 minutes to allow flavor to be absorbed.
VARIATIONS
- Add more or less chile flakes according to your taste. Korean red
pepper is best. Otherwise regular chile flakes will do.
