(Middle Eastern sesame-lemon sauce)
Makes about 1 cup
- Tahini -- 1/4 cup
- Water -- 1/2 cup
- Lemon juice -- 1/4 cup
- Salt -- 1 teaspoon
- Add all the ingredients to a large bowl and whisk together until smooth. Add more or less water depending on how thick you like the sauce. It is typically served somewhat thick in the Middle East.
- Add one or two cloves of minced garlic if you like.
